As a duck lover, I always make it a point to look for halal duck whenever I’m in KL. We discovered Duckout in Melawati and dropped by on a weekday. It wasn’t crowded during our visit, which made the experience even more pleasant. We were tempted to try their fusion dishes like Lemak Duck, but since it was just the two of us and we had eaten not long before, we ended up ordering just the quarter roast duck and Itik Begedil. Thank you for serving us the duck leg section the meat was tender and the sauce was delicious! We really enjoyed the fragrant rice, and the complimentary soup was a thoughtful touch with goji berries, clean and sweet, not oily at all. The Itik Begedil had a crispy skin, slightly reminiscent of tauhu goreng in a good way! Overall, it was a great experience for us. Let’s continue to support this restaurant so they can thrive and continue serving quality halal duck dishes!

My go to duck place! Their roasted duck is so juicy and tender. Aside from that they make the best chili oil. A perfect combo!! And if you’re not a duck fan, they have roasted chicken too! Is equally delicious! They are very generous with their food portions and the price is reasonable. A big congratulations to the team for always delivering the best food & service!

Another gem in melawati, Chinese style halal food. For a Peking duck lover, I must say the dishes are really delicious , up to par for a well appointed cafe serving duck fare ala style Cina. Its masak lemak chili padi is "spicyfully" appetising, for a chili lover like me. Its wanton noodle is springy and tasty, better than many served by Chinese hawkers. Highly recommended. Many dishes more to try

Their chicken rice is a standout, fragrant, fluffy rice paired with tender, succulent chicken that’s both juicy and well-marinated. It's the kind of dish that reminds you how good simple food can be when done right. Another unexpected gem is their masak lemak, so creamy, rich, and packed with flavour. The santan (coconut milk) is not overpowering, and the spice level is just right, offering a beautiful balance that complements the other dishes perfectly.

For Chinese patrons, go for their curry options and not the straight up roast stuff… (you will probably say it’s not up to standard) Their sides are awesome! Taufu sumbat! Pai tee & begedil! All awesome extras… We went for their signature stuff and will be back to try out more dishes! Very happy and satisfied with our meal and it was nicely cozy on a weekend afternoon. Not sure how they will keep the place cool on an extremely hot day, but overall it was still cool enough. The drinks were pretty ok too. Give this place a try, you will definitely get a decent meal.

This is our second visit. The food is absolutely divine—especially the duck, which is bursting with flavor, and the prawn chili oil that adds the perfect kick. I can't get enough! (Similar exactly same with Chinese Cuisine) The musolah facility is absolutely fantastic—it's super convenient and a real gem for anyone looking to pray with ease! However, the drink option lacks variety, and I personally don't like the sirau selasih. (ordered twice and still did not meet my expectations)
